Pinned: what each I-485 status actually means

"Case Was Received" → your receipt notice is in the mail.
"Fingerprint Fee Was Received" → biometrics reuse or appointment coming.
"Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview" → the file has reached your field office queue; this stage can last months.
"New Card Is Being Produced" → approval is done; the physical card is next.
